Police visit fifth grade
Police officers Sara and Helga visited the fifth grade today. The visit introduced students to community policing and its daily operations.
Students received an informative demonstration of police equipment and were thrilled to get an up-close look at body cameras, handcuffs, radios, and other interesting gear.
Finally, the students tried on various pieces of equipment, including a surprisingly heavy police vest. The students were highly engaged, asked insightful questions, and thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
