Ash Wednesday at Ingunnarskóli
Ingunnarskóli celebrated Ash Wednesday today, with all kinds of strange creatures showing up at school.
Regular classes were suspended as students were divided into four groups. The groups then rotated between different activity stations throughout the school.
Activities included a bingo station in one area, dancing in another, arts and crafts at a third station, and games in the gymnasium where students participated in the traditional "hitting the cat out of the bin" celebration.
The festivities concluded at noon with a hot dog feast in the school cafeteria.
