Sports day
Today Ingunnarskóli held its annual sports day. The day went well even though the weather didn't fully cooperate.
Students in grades 1-7 were split into groups and everyone enjoyed being outside for fun challenges and games at multiple stations. Some classes, however, ended up finishing the day inside.
Students in grades 8-10 competed in various sports competitions between grade levels inside the gymnasium. The games ended with 9th grade coming out as the winner.
At the end of the day, everyone gathered on the school grounds to dance the Superman together and form a long conga line. Afterward, everyone enjoyed hot dogs from the cafeteria.
Later today at 6pm is the 10th grade graduation, and tomorrow is the school closing ceremony for grades 1-9. Grades 1-6 should arrive at 9am and grades 7-9 should arrive at 9:45am.
