Icelandic Language Center at the House of Collections

Students from the Icelandic Language Center at Ingunnarskóli participated in an exciting collaborative project with the National Gallery of Iceland.

The project focused on cultural heritage, trolls and folk tales. The students worked creatively with this theme, and the results of their collaboration are now on display at the House of Collections at Hverfisgata 15.

Students from the Icelandic Language Center have visited the museum regularly throughout the school year, and museum staff have also visited the school to work with students and teachers. The children were proud and happy at the House of Collections today as they viewed the exhibit, and their experience was made even better when a massive troll named Tufti stopped by to greet everyone.

We encourage you to visit the House of Collections and explore this delightful exhibit, which will remain open through April 13.
