East-West education workshops

On Wednesday, Oct. 15, the annual East-West education workshops for the schools (Ingunnarskóli, Selásskóli and Vesturbæjarskóli) were held at Elliðaárstöð.
Teachers attended workshops on artificial intelligence, the connection between computer technology and nature, stories as icebreakers, the Smart Speech Challenge "The Life I Want," and science education. Some participated in a scavenger hunt around Elliðaárdalur. At the end of the day, there was a preview of the exhibit "Heartstrings and Watersheds" and an introduction to the "Invisible" learning materials — all important professional development to support their excellent teachers.
