The school
Ingunnarskóli is a comprehensive primary school for students in grades 1-10. The school is situated in a new neighborhood on the outskirts of the city, a perfectly pleasant setting surrounded by nature, which is infused in our daily activities and play. Outdoor teaching is incorporated across all subjects.
The school participates in the Green Flag project, which emphasizes responsible behavior towards the environment, inside and outside of the school. The motto of Ingunnarskóli is respect- responsibility- kindness
The Stjörnuland after-school program is for children in grades 1 to 4 in Ingunnarskóli and the youth center, Fókus, offers a variety of fun activities for children and adolescents.

School rules
Each primary school must set school rules that must be followed. Ingunnarskóli's school rules are divided into ten categories. They apply everywhere students are on behalf of the school.
