Lost and found
We're now overwhelmed with lost and found items here at Ingunnarskóli. We ask you to check if you recognize any of these items.
The number of items has increased significantly since Stjörnuland moved into the building. We barely have space for these items anymore. We plan to donate these items to the Red Cross after the parent-teacher conference day on February 5.
We encourage you to thoroughly check the lost and found items we have here. You can find them in baskets to the left of the main entrance and in the green cabinets by the office entrance (both marked). We'll display all lost and found items on the parent-teacher conference day, but after that, we'll donate them to the Red Cross.
We also ask you to encourage your children to put their clothes in their lockers at the end of the day instead of leaving them by the main entrance. Clothes are often scattered around, making it difficult to keep the school tidy.
Once a month, we go through the lost and found items and return all labeled items to the students' lockers. We encourage parents to label clothes with names, as this ensures they're always returned.
We also remind older students to take their bags home or put them in their lockers. There are evening activities at the school, so it's problematic to have bags scattered throughout the building.
